Daily Soul Food

Learning daily that self love is necessary to be the best version of “you” that you can be. You can’t let your life’s mission be to give love to others and forget to love yourself first. As I continue on my growth journey, I now understand that loving yourself first is when your life will align with your purpose.

Song Of the Day

In my excitement of “The Hills: New Beginnings” coming back to TV, I chose the theme Song,”Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield as the song of the day. I constantly have to remind myself to enjoy life’s moments even in the midst of trials because each day we are blessed to see gives us the chance to write a new page in our life story. Enjoy!

Learning to Love the Girl I Once Was on the Journey to Becoming the Woman I am Today

Looking back at the girl I used to be and the woman I’m becoming, I realized that every insecure thought, loss, and painful experience had a predestined purpose in my life. They were all necessary to help shape me into the strong, unbreakable, and graceful woman that stands before you today.

I once tried to run away from things that didn’t fit into the illusion of sunshine and rainbows that I imagined for my life’s journey. I now realize that learning to accept things along your path that force you to leap out of your comfort zone will bring out your inner strength and resilience to face hardships. One’s growth is a remnant of the past and proof that there is great promise in the future that lies ahead. Be encouraged! Grow gracefully!

Let Faith Carry You Through…Your Growth Depends On It

In this season of brokenness, I can truly say that my faith has been tested to the max. There are times that I felt like I just couldn’t push through it any longer and giving up hope was the only option. I began to question: Why am I experiencing so much pain and disappointment in my life? God is constantly reminding me that he has me in his hand and that it is all to make me a stronger person in the end. The picture is now clearer that I have a greater purpose to fulfill. Each challenging experience along life’s journey is to help you grow into the person that God already designed you to become. I have learned that pain is needed in the process of growth to stretch your faith and ability to trust completely in God to deliver you out of the trial. I hope this encourages someone and inspires them to push through difficult times even when it seems like it is impossible to do. Just know that you are being elevated to a higher level and through your story someone will be lifted too. Also, know that God will restore everything that you may have lost in his perfect timing.

Stay encouraged,

Faith Over Fear

Have you ever been going through life, feeling as if you are not actually living it? I have felt that way many times and one day I decided to take a leap of faith and start a new chapter of life by and moving to a new state. I must admit I pondered over this decision for three years with thoughts of doubt and fear causing me to lose sight of my dreams. At the start of 2018, I decided that changing my mindset was the first step to make my dream a reality. In order to change your mindset, you must activate your faith.

In three months, my faith helped me to take the steps necessary to plan my move. During the three months, many obstacles stood in my way, but God rewarded my faith and made everything come together in the end. Once I reached my destination doors began to open for me that I felt I was unqualified for, but this was God’s plan all along. I am happy that I chose faith over fear and didn’t pass this chance to chase my dreams. I now realize that we can sometimes hold ourselves back from seizing the opportunity to live the life we were meant to live. This move helped me to take leaps and bounds out of my comfort zone and I am more confident and in expectation of the places God is going to take me. Most importantly, my faith has grown and I trust that I am not alone for God is with me every step of the journey.

Stay encouraged,

-Ronni💋

Scripture of the day:

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.”

Circumstances That Occur in Your Life Are Not A Coincidence, But Preparation For Your Destiny

Have you ever felt like you have been going through life and unfortunate circumstances seem to keep constantly reoccurring? I have felt this way many times and I remember feeling like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Whenever negative thoughts enter my mind I turn to God for spiritual intervention and he usually comforts me through scriptures. A scripture that reminds me that each circumstance, both good and bad, are all in God’s plan for my life is Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”, (KJV).

I am thankful to now realize that there were lessons learned through each disappointment that equipped me for the journey of the person I’m predestined to become. May whoever is reading this be inspired to keep pursuing a better you that is waiting to come forth.
