Circumstances That Occur in Your Life Are Not A Coincidence, But Preparation For Your Destiny

Have you ever felt like you have been going through life and unfortunate circumstances seem to keep constantly reoccurring? I have felt this way many times and I remember feeling like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Whenever negative thoughts enter my mind I turn to God for spiritual intervention and he usually comforts me through scriptures. A scripture that reminds me that each circumstance, both good and bad, are all in God’s plan for my life is Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”, (KJV).

I am thankful to now realize that there were lessons learned through each disappointment that equipped me for the journey of the person I’m predestined to become. May whoever is reading this be inspired to keep pursuing a better you that is waiting to come forth.

My Heart’s Desire

I desire to love and be loved unconditionally 

The way God has intended for love to be

For love to be shown through action and not based solely on attraction

I have discovered I’m worthy and to myself I make this vow

To never settle for less even when it seems hard to take a stand and in times I can’t see how

Being a daughter of the King, I desire a king made for me after God’s own heart

Erasing fear and doubt with unselfish love and consistency from the start

Waiting for my king will take time

I must stay patient, heal, grow, and know that who God has for me will be sublime

Recognizing Purpose In My Pain

I never knew that there was purpose in my pain.

Until life had to die inside of me for my spirit to be reborn again.

God’s love comforted me in my despair and renewed my heart I thought was beyond repair.

I now recognize he was carrying me and preparing me to represent his glory from the start.

Through lyrical dance, song, and inspirational words I will share my testimony, may my purpose be fulfilled.

My desire is to spread God’s love to the wounded and broken hearted so they too can be healed.

I’m grateful to recognize the purpose in my pain and through God may your purpose be revealed.

Refocus Your Vision: Connecting Vision with Purpose

When the word vision comes to mind, one may think of its initial meaning, which is the ability to see with the eyes. Have you ever thought of  what happens when vision is connected with purpose?Faith is the result of vision connecting with purpose. To have faith is to believe with your heart in something even when you aren’t able to see it in the natural, but you are able to visualize it in the mind. At this point, vision is interconnected with purpose. What is visualized in the mind becomes the force that pushes one forward to make the vision a reality. A favorite scripture that explains the result of vision with purpose is Habakkuk‬ ‭2:2‬-3KJV‬‬: “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”Once your purpose is visualized in your mind and written for one to see with the eyes, faith is activated the to fulfill it! Just know that it will come  forth in God’s perfect timing.
