Chasing Your Dreams By Any Means Necessary

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed: for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of righteousness.”- Isaiah 41:10 KJV

Often times when we choose to activate the faith needed to pursue making our dreams a reality, thoughts of doubt come to hinder us from taking that leap of faith into the right direction. Have you wondered where this doubt comes from? Doubt is a form of fear. Once fear enters the mind, it creates a ripple effect on one’s decisions and actions in life. It will appear as if there are too many obstacles blocking the dream from manifesting. One must always remember that making your dream a reality will take a lifetime to achieve it. No obstacle is bigger than God. He doesn’t give us more than we can bear. On the journey to greatness don’t lose hope. There is no fear in God because he will strengthen us daily to fulfill the dreams he has predestined for each and every one of us. With his strength, we now have what it takes to chase our dreams by any means necessary!

Cry Now…From Tears Spring New Found Life and Joy

When it rains, I usually think of the rain as a way of God bringing new life to the earth. I have now come to realize that tears  bring new life and joy. Many times, I have cried myself to sleep, and I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to seize the new start of the day. God is even in my tears, because he is reminding me that after the tears, the new day will bring joy in knowing that it is another chance to continue on the path to my destiny. Tears are important for personal growth!

Your Saga Doesn’t Define You

Have you ever wondered why you seem to keep experiencing hurt from the same situation repeatedly over and over again at different points in your life? Over time it seems hurt has become the saga of your life. There was a point of time in my life, when I kept getting into relationships that resulted in hurt and disappointment. I used to question myself and wondered if I was the reason the relationships weren’t working out. I realized that part of the reason the past relationships didn’t work out was my distorted perception of what I believed I deserved. I wasn’t aware of my worth, and I accepted the hurt and disappointment out of the fear of being alone. I can truly say, it is amazing how you see the picture more clearly when you are out of the frame. I have learned that this saga doesn’t define me. Instead, it helped me discover my value and all that I have to offer to the individual who will appreciate my value. As a result, I have gained more than I have lost. My new sense of self-worth and inner peace is more important than settling for the lack thereof. “Loving myself more” defines me.

Predestined to Flourish

Have you ever went through a season of hardship and felt like it would never end and there was no light at the end of the tunnel? Well, I have repeated this season many times along the road of my life. When I look back, I must say that each time I felt like this was the end and that I couldn’t go on any further, I realized that  God allowed the hard seasons to come in order for me to flourish. The dictionary defines flourish as growing luxuriantly, or thriving in growth, as a plant. When I think of a plant, it starts as a seed in the ground. In order to grow, it needs water, nutrients in the soil, and sunlight. It is a long process for the seed to become a plant. The seed endures the harsh weather elements, but somehow retains nutrients needed to flourish in the end. Each seed flourishes into a plant in its own season of harvest. In the same way a seed is predestined to flourish into a plant, so are we. The next time you face a season of hardship in your life, just remember that it was predestined to happen in order to help you walk boldly into your season of growth. Ultimately, God’s gets the glory and your season of growth is the beginning of a new life of purpose.

Isaiah 17:11 King James Version (Verse of the Day)

“In the day shalt thou make thy plant to  grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.”
