Brokenness is the process of violently being separated into smaller pieces, damaged, and destroyed. This explains why whenever I face a season of brokenness in life, I feel defeated, like the pain and suffering will never end. What God reminds me every time is that even though I canβt see my way out of the storm he is transforming my brokenness into beauty. There is a greater purpose in the pain one goes through. His grace is sufficient for our weakness because God wants to get the glory out of my despair. But in order for him to get the glory, I learned that you must renew your mind and see the beauty in the pain. Beauty means to possess qualities that give pleasure to the senses or lift up the mind or spirit. Faith causes you to see beauty in a bad situation. Once we begin to see the beauty, we can stand through any test and trial because we can now have confidence that brokenness brings out the good qualities, or the beauty that already exists inside of you. You discover the beauty in who you are through difficult times. God cares for us so much that he makes our imperfections perfect through his love.
