โ€œFor I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.โ€

โ€ญโ€ญ~I Corinthiansโ€ฌ โ€ญ15โ€ฌ:โ€ญ9โ€ฌ-โ€ญ10โ€ฌ โ€ญNKJVโ€ฌโ€ฌ

Hello family! Let me ask you this, have you ever looked at your life and wondered, โ€œWhy would God choose someone like me?โ€ If so, youโ€™re not alone. The scripture I’m sharing with you today speaks directly to that feeling.

1 Corinthians 15:9-10 is a powerful reminder that Godโ€™s grace doesnโ€™t just cover us, it transforms us.

In verse 9, Paul shows that he understood what like to have a past that didnโ€™t align with his present assignment. He once persecuted the very church he later helped build. Maybe youโ€™re carrying something today…regret, shame, insecurity, or a feeling that God couldnโ€™t possibly use someone like you.

Also, please remember that Grace is not about who you were. Itโ€™s about who God is.

In verse 10, Paul is showing us that grace doesnโ€™t excuse us from purpose, it empowers us for it. When God places His grace on your life, it shifts the trajectory of your story. It turns weakness into strength, doubt into confidence, and past mistakes into powerful testimony.

God doesnโ€™t just call the qualified, he qualifies the called.

If youโ€™ve been questioning your worth, your calling, or your place in Godโ€™s plan, let this verse settle in your heart today:

You are not who your past says you are.

You are who Godโ€™s grace is shaping you to be.

And His grace always comes with purpose.

Reflection Question:

Where in your life have you been disqualifying yourself when God has already extended grace?

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for Your grace that finds me, changes me, and carries me. Help me to stop viewing myself through the lens of my past and to embrace who You are calling me to be. Strengthen me to walk boldly in my purpose, knowing that Your grace is working in and through me. Amen.

This week, whenever doubt creeps in, speak this truth over yourself:

โ€œBy the grace of God, I am who He says I am.โ€

Write it down, whisper it in prayer, or declare it until your heart believes it.

Live Faithfully and Aligned with Purpose,

โ€œGive thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.โ€

~Psalm 136:1

Happy Thanksgiving, family! I hope you all are enjoying the holiday and finding moments to slow down, breathe, and reflect. While reflecting, it was laid on my heart to share with you what this holiday means to me. Thanksgiving isnโ€™t just a holiday, itโ€™s a heart posture.

Itโ€™s a slowing down long enough to notice Godโ€™s goodness in each day, even the ones that felt heavy.

Psalm 136:1 reminds us to recall His faithfulness, the doors He opened, the peace He whispered, and the strength He poured into us when we felt empty. His love doesnโ€™t waver with circumstances or emotions. It remains strong, steady, and sure. Giving thanks doesnโ€™t mean we ignore our struggles, it means we recognize Godโ€™s presence within them. Gratitude shifts our focus from what is missing to what God has already done, and continues to do.

So today, let this verse become your anchor. Wherever you are, whatever the day holds, choose to give thanks. Not because everything is perfect, but because God is always good.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your unending love and goodness over my life. Help me pause long enough to see Your fingerprints in every season; the joyful, the challenging, and the quiet in-between moments. Teach my heart to live with open hands and a grateful spirit. Let thanksgiving not be just a word I speak, but a rhythm I live. You are good, and Your love truly endures forever. Amen.

Reflection:

What is one specific thing, big or small, that you can intentionally thank God for today, even if it doesnโ€™t feel easy?

Take a moment to write it down. Speak it. Pray it. Let it settle into your heart.

Choose one way to express gratitude today. Let gratitude move beyond thought, into action.

Because His love endures forever and so can your praise.

Live Faithfully and Give Thanks!

Sassy Mindset๐Ÿ’‹โ€ฆThe Power of โ€œNowโ€

Hello Sassy family! Have you ever caught yourself daydreaming about the life you want; more peace, more confidence, more joy, but feeling unsure of how to actually get there? Maybe youโ€™ve been waiting for the perfect timing, the right opportunity, or the moment when everything finally โ€œfalls into place.โ€ If that sounds familiar, youโ€™re not alone. So many of us stand on the edge of our potential, not realizing that the doorway to our future is found in the choices we make today.

Emily Dickinsonโ€™s quote, โ€œThe future is composed of the nows,โ€ is a great reminder that our future isnโ€™t something far away; itโ€™s being shaped in every moment we choose courage, grace, and intention.

Instead of waiting for the โ€œperfect time,โ€ the right opportunity, or someoneโ€™s approval, Dickinson reminds us that the life we desire begins with what we do today. Every small decision: setting a boundary, speaking up, prioritizing self-care, pursuing a dream creates ripples that build the future weโ€™re hoping for.

Let this truth empower you to step into your worth right now. Not when things feel easier. Not when life slows down. Not when we โ€œfeel ready.โ€

But now.

When we honor the present, we honor ourselves. And when women honor themselves, the future becomes brighter, stronger, and more aligned with who we were always meant to be.

Take a moment today to choose one meaningful action; no matter how small that reflects the future you want. Write it down, speak it out loud, Your โ€œnowโ€ matters more than you know.

Daily Affirmation๐Ÿ’‹

โ€œI honor my present, I shape my future, and every step I take today moves me closer to the woman Iโ€™m becoming.โ€

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. ~Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

Hello family! Have you ever caught yourself lying awake at night, replaying the same worries over and over, wondering if this will finally be the thing that breaks you? Weโ€™ve all been there. So hereโ€™s the question: What do you tend to do first when anxiety shows up: panic, shut down, or try to fix everything yourself?

Philippians 4:6โ€“7 reminds us that there is a better way to face anxiety whenever it tries to rise in our lives.

Instead of carrying the weight alone, we must bring every burden, big or small, before God through prayer and honest conversation. When we choose prayer over panic, surrender over spiraling, something powerful happens: God exchanges our anxiety for His peace. Not a temporary calm or a quick emotional fix, but a deep, guarding peace that covers our hearts and minds like a shield.

This passage is a gentle reminder that peace isnโ€™t found in perfect circumstances; itโ€™s found in Godโ€™s presence. When we release what we canโ€™t control, we make room for the peace that surpasses all understanding to settle in.

Reflection:

What worry can you hand over to God today?

Affirmation:

I choose prayer over panic, and Godโ€™s peace covers me completely.

โ€œHear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer.

From the end of the earth I will cry to You,

When my heart is overwhelmed;

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For You have been a shelter for me,

A strong tower from the enemy.โ€

~Psalm 61:1โ€“3 (NKJV)

Hello family! Letโ€™s be honest there are days when life just feels heavy. Youโ€™re doing your best to keep it together, but inside, your heart feels overwhelmed. Maybe itโ€™s the endless to-do list, the heartbreak you didnโ€™t see coming, or the quiet moments where you wonder if anyone really understands.

If thatโ€™s you today, take a deep breath because Psalm 61 is your reminder that you donโ€™t have to be strong on your own.

David didnโ€™t hide his struggle. He cried out to God and said, โ€œWhen my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.โ€ I love that. He wasnโ€™t asking for all the answers; he was asking to be lifted higher above the noise, above the fear, above the weight of it all.

You donโ€™t have to fix every problem or hold everything together. God is your Rock, your Shelter, your Safe Place. Heโ€™s not asking you to do more; Heโ€™s inviting you to rest in Him.

So today, instead of trying to carry it all, take your weary heart and lean into His strength. Let Him lift you higher.

Reflection:

When your heart feels overwhelmed, where do you turn first and how can you remind yourself to turn to God as your Rock and Shelter this week?

Prayer:

When my heart feels heavy and my strength fades, lead me to You; the Rock that is higher than I. Thank You for being my refuge, my shelter, and my safe place. Help me release what I cannot control and rest in Your presence. Remind me that I am never alone, even in my most overwhelmed moments. Strengthen my faith and steady my heart in You.

In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

Iโ€™d love to hear from you, Sassy family! ๐Ÿ’•

Savvy Reflections๐Ÿฉทโ€ฆHow Has Your View of Love Changed Over the Years?

Hello Sassy family! Have you ever caught yourself thinking about how your view of love has changed over the years? This question came to me recently as I was reflecting on my own journey, learning self-love, setting boundaries, and becoming the best version of me. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the way I understand and express love has evolved just as much as I have.

When I look back at how I viewed love in my younger days, I can only laugh and maybe cry a little. I really thought love meant proving my worth instead of knowing it. I believed love meant being chosen, that someone elseโ€™s attention or affection somehow validated my worth.

Now, I see how deeply my younger self tied love to validation instead of value. She didnโ€™t yet know that love begins within, that you teach others how to love you by how you love yourself.

With growth and healing, my perspective has softened and matured. Love today feels deeper, wiser, more intentional. Itโ€™s not about perfection or constant validation ; itโ€™s about peace, honesty, and presence. Itโ€™s showing up for each other, communicating through the tough moments, and choosing love every single day.

Love now looks like partnership, not possession. Itโ€™s not about being rescued; itโ€™s about being respected. Itโ€™s a safe place to grow, not a battlefield to prove your worth.

The more Iโ€™ve learned to truly love myself, the more Iโ€™ve understood what real love should feel like. Itโ€™s not about losing yourself to be loved; it’s about loving yourself enough to never shrink again.

So tell me, Sassy family, how has your view of love changed as youโ€™ve grown, healed, and learned more about yourself?

Drop your thoughts in the comments. Iโ€™d love to hear how your heart has evolved too.

Affirmation:
โ€œI am no longer waiting to be chosen. I choose myself fully, freely, and with love.โ€

Sassy Mindset๐Ÿ’‹โ€ฆ. Rising Above What You Canโ€™t Control

Hello Sassy family! Letโ€™s be real, life doesnโ€™t always go the way we planned. Sometimes you think youโ€™ve got everything under control, and then something unexpected knocks the wind out of you. Maybe itโ€™s a job loss, a painful realization, or a situation that left you asking, โ€œWhy me?โ€

Weโ€™ve all had those moments that make us feel small, powerless, or completely thrown off balance. But hereโ€™s the beautiful truth: even when we canโ€™t control what happens to us, we can control how we show up in the middle of it.

Thatโ€™s exactly what Maya Angelou reminds us of in one of her most powerful quotes:

โ€œYou may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.โ€ – Maya Angelou

Those words hit differently when life gets messy.

Because the truth is, thereโ€™s so much we canโ€™t control. People will disappoint us, plans will fall apart, and life will throw curveballs we never saw coming. But every challenge gives us a choice: to let it break us down or build us up.

You have the power to decide whether your hardships will define or refine you.

When you choose not to be reduced by what youโ€™ve been through, youโ€™re reclaiming your peace. Youโ€™re saying, โ€œYes, this hurt. Yes, it was hard. But itโ€™s not going to shrink me.โ€

Choosing not to be reduced doesnโ€™t mean pretending everythingโ€™s fine. It means giving yourself permission to feel it, process it, and still move forward with your head held high. Itโ€™s standing in your truth and refusing to let pain harden your heart. Itโ€™s believing that you can still shine, even when life tries to dim your light.

Remember this: the same fire that burns can also build character.

So if life has thrown you into the fire lately, donโ€™t lose heart. Youโ€™re being shaped, strengthened, and prepared for something greater. You may not control the storm, but you can decide to rise from it stronger, wiser, and more grounded in who you are.

Donโ€™t let lifeโ€™s events reduce you. Let them reveal the resilient, unstoppable woman you were created to be.

Empowering Reflection:

What situation once tried to reduce you, but instead revealed your strength?

Live Fearless and Be Unstoppable!

Love,

โ€œThose who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.โ€ โ€” Daniel 12:3 (NKJV)

Hello family! In a world that often celebrates temporary fame and fleeting success, Daniel 12:3 reminds us of a different kind of shine that never fades. God calls us to live with wisdom and purpose, to reflect His light in everything we do.

When our hearts are aligned with His, our lives become beacons of hope that guide others toward righteousness. This isnโ€™t just about shining for a moment, itโ€™s about leaving an eternal glow that points back to Him.

A life lived for God never goes unnoticed. True wisdom isnโ€™t about knowing it all, itโ€™s about walking closely with God and reflecting His light in a dark world. When we choose to live with integrity, faith, and love, our influence becomes eternal.

Every encouraging word, every act of kindness, every moment spent guiding someone closer to God makes us shine brighter in His eyes. Just like stars that never lose their light, your faith-filled impact will continue to glow long after your time here on earth.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to live a life that shines with Your wisdom and love. Use my words and actions to lead others toward You, and let my light reflect Your glory forever. Amen.

Reflection Question:

How can you shine Godโ€™s light today in a way that points someone else toward Him?

Live faithfully! Let your light shine!

Soul Food๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿชด๐Ÿฉท: Godโ€™s Unstoppable Purposes

Hello family! Have you ever found yourself asking, โ€œWhat is my true purpose in life?โ€ Maybe youโ€™ve wondered if youโ€™re walking in the right direction, or if the plans youโ€™ve made for your life really line up with Godโ€™s. That longing for clarity can feel overwhelming, but Job 42:2 reminds us of a powerful truth: โ€œI know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.โ€

Jobโ€™s declaration is both a confession of faith and a testimony of surrender. After walking through unimaginable suffering, Job finally acknowledges the sovereignty of God. For women today, this verse is a beautiful reminder that no matter what season of life we are in, whether joy-filled or heart-wrenching, Godโ€™s plans remain unshaken. His purposes cannot be stopped by circumstances, setbacks, or even our own missteps.

When we feel uncertain about our purpose, Jobโ€™s words invite us to rest in Godโ€™s perfect authority. Instead of striving to figure it all out on our own, we can trust that the One who created us is guiding our steps and weaving every detail into His greater story.

Reflection:

  • Are you searching for purpose in your own strength rather than seeking Godโ€™s guidance?
  • Do you trust that His plans for your life are unfolding, even when you canโ€™t see them clearly?

Prayer:

Lord, thank You that nothing is impossible for You. Help me to rest in Your sovereignty and trust that Your purposes for my life are good and cannot be stopped. Strengthen my faith so that I may walk with confidence in Your plan. Amen.
