Hello, Sassy family! While enjoying, Dove Chocolate, one of my favorite chocolate candy brands, I came across this quote inside the wrapper and it inspired me so much that I had to share it with you. Hello, my Sassy family! I came across this quote today that I had to share with you. It resonates with me because I kept my true self hidden and bottled inside me for many years. Throughout my childhood and into adulthood, the fear of rejection has often silenced my voice.

I remember feeling weird and socially awkward because I was so shy and quiet. I never felt like I fit in and compared myself to people around me. My only way to express my thoughts and emotions was to write in my journal. Keeping a journal has truly empowered me to recognize my own unique story and voice.

Who you are is interconnected with your story and voice. I now realize that God was writing my story while building my character to share it with others for His glory.  I am fearlessly embracing and expressing my true self with confidence and ease, and I hope that you will be inspired to do the same. The world is waiting to hear your story. You hold the power to share it in a way that only you can.
