Hello, everyone! This scripture was laid on my heart to share with someone who may be going through a difficult time and needs encouragement. The start of spring has brought me a lot of challenges. I have struggled to adapt to changes and navigate through uncertainties on my journey. During those times when I feel overwhelmed and like I’m losing my faith, God continues to remind me that He is my peace and source of strength. He has revealed to me that the rain I’ve experienced in my life through disappointments and painful experiences was necessary for my spiritual and mental growth.

 Just as rain is a necessity for plants to bloom, it’s vital for us to endure such difficult times to develop into the person God intended us to become. As I progress through this season, I will clear my mind and consider this time as a new beginning and rebirth. I am motivated and enthusiastic about the direction that God is leading me towards and the type of woman I am evolving into. Please remember that even when everything seems to be going wrong, we must trust in Him to guide us towards the promise.

Hello family and Happy Resurrection Day! I hope everyone had a great day with their family, friends, and loved ones. Let us take time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and his continued presence in our lives. This scripture was laid on my heart to share as a reminder that God is our source of strength to navigate life’s challenges and achieve anything. All we need to do is express our desires, remain grateful, surrender our will, and trust in him to bring them to life. Reassurance from the Holy Spirit within us gives us the strength to overcome all obstacles and succeed. Whenever it feels like God’s presence is absent and I start to lose faith in a situation or circumstance working out in my favor, I am reminded that He is working behind the scenes on my behalf. He turns everything around in a way that surpasses my imagination.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share this scripture with you all today because it encourages me when I feel overwhelmed with negative thoughts, emotions, and the noise of world. I’ve found that when I take quiet moments to give thanks and reflect on all the good that God has done in my life, His peace comes over me. During these times, my faith increases, which helps me endure any storm that comes my way.

Remember that He is bigger than any problem you may be facing right now. Keep looking up and don’t focus on the obstacle in front of you. Let’s aim to live a life that pleases Him and spread His goodness to others. This is the key to maintaining peace of mind and experiencing unspeakable joy even when all hope seems lost.

New Year, Embracing the New You!

โ€œBehold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.โ€

Hello, Sassy family! Happy New Year! Sorry for checking in so late in the New Year. I hope everyoneโ€™s year is off to a great start. This is my first post of 2024 and Iโ€™m so glad to be back. Iโ€™m not sure if anyone can relate, but January has flown by, and I am still trying to catch up in February.

Each year gives us a chance to make a brand-new start and one step closer to making our dreams a reality. Since New Yearโ€™s resolutions are sometimes forgotten after January, I decided to create an action plan that will help keep me focused and motivated to execute each action step in the plan. My action plan for this year includes the following action steps:

  1. Walk boldly in my purpose.
  2. Let faith be bigger than my fear.
  3. Give myself more grace and take one step at a time to achieve a goal.
  4. Embrace all the parts of the woman I am becoming, past and present.
  5. Be grateful for each moment that I have experienced on my journey.
  6. Posture my heart to surrender every aspect of my life to Godโ€™s will.
  7. Be more intentional about growing my relationship with God by spending more time with him will help keep me focused and give me the strength to continue taking steps toward living my dream life. 

 I hope that the action steps I have shared will inspire you to create a personal action plan.  The scripture that was laid on my heart to share with you all is Isaiah 43:19. I truly believe that God is doing a new thing within and all around us. We must trust in his plan and embrace the new beginnings.

Whenever I attempt to repeat old patterns of thinking or ways of doing a thing, I find myself feeling extremely uncomfortable and unable to go back to the woman I once was. It’s like when a plant grows new roots and must be repotted to keep it growing and healthy. I now know that God is transforming my mind and preparing me for my destiny.

Iโ€™m determined to push forward in faith because my purpose is bigger than me. Each day, I grow more excited for God to reveal more about my purpose, the woman he designed me to be, and to receive all the blessings God has in store this year and Iโ€™m believing that he will do the same for you too!

Hi my spiritual fam! This scripture was laid on my heart to share with you all today. Please be encouraged that times of disappointment, sadness, and uncertainty will not last always.

We must trust God, continue in faith, and believe with our whole hearts that our moment of breakthrough will come.

Whenever doubt comes as a distraction, redirect your thoughts on walking into the promise that God has revealed to you. Everything you lost will be restored. Get ready to receive all the good things that he has in store for you!

Hi, my spiritual family! Iโ€™ve been in a season of growth. My faith is being tested to the point where the only thing I can do is put my trust in God when it seems like everything around me is beyond my control. Let this scripture encourage and remind you that you are not alone in challenging times. In these times, we must draw closer to him for strength to overcome any challenge or obstacle that may come our way.

In periods of uncertainty, we must re-train our minds to focus on the plans God has placed in our hearts and tune out the voices of doubt, fear, and worry. We must be still and listen for his voice to comfort, guide, and unveil the next step to take on our journey. Remember that the obstacles we overcome are shaping us into the version of ourselves that God desires for us to become.

As I look back over my life, I canโ€™t recall a time that God has failed me, even when the situation seemed overwhelming and impossible to overcome. With God, all things are made possible if we open our hearts to believe it and let his word order our steps to reach the promise.

Hi my spiritual family! Please let this scripture be a reminder that we must praise, pray, and give thanks at all times. These actions activate our joy, peace, and victory.

Through praise we honor, express joy, and gratitude to God for all that he has done, is doing, and will do in our lives. Keeping our hearts in a posture of praise brings deliverance and unlocks blessings.

Praying allows us to open up our hearts to God and consistently communicate with him. He will lead and guide us every step of the journey he has assigned us to go on if we seek him.

Giving thanks to God for the blessings and disappointments positions our hearts to stay in a place of humility and mindfulness. This helps us shift our minds to focus on his plan an the promise that he has placed in our hearts.

We can then surrender our will and look to him to give us unspeakable joy, and peace of mind, and perfect the work he started in our lives. Who is ready to activate their joy, peace, and victory with me?

Hi my spiritual family! This scripture was laid on my heart to remind you to always keep your mind on God. In my experience when things are out of control, trusting and centering my mind on God calms me. He always keeps his promises and is the solid rock I can stand on in times when I’m uncertain and unstable. His holy spirit gives you peace that canโ€™t be explained. It empowers you to overcome whatever life throws your way to distract you and cause you to focus on unfortunate circumstances.

Always remember that he is sovereign, bigger than any problem or situation. We must lean into him so that he can reveal the depths of his character to us. By depending on him with our whole hearts, we are surrendering our will and letting go of control over the outcome of the circumstance. This increases our faith in him which gives us the strength to endure until the end of a difficult season. Who will you put your trust in today?

Blooming Where You Are

Hi, my Sassy fam! As the beginning of the Spring season gets nearer, Iโ€™ve been going through a period of reflection and revival. Iโ€™m at a place now on my journey where I canโ€™t go back to the woman I used to be because I have unlearned the victim mindset and the need to be accepted. I know what I deserve, and I no longer feel guilty about setting boundaries, voicing my opinions, and making my expectations known.

I am unapologetically me. I am like a flower that has been planted, cultivated, and ready to bloom in at a set time, and season. I have begun to embrace the dream woman I am becoming, who is worthy to receive love, pursue my passions, and create my dream life.

Iโ€™m gaining confidence and committed to showing up for this version of me. It hasnโ€™t been easy and there have been growing pains, but Iโ€™m finally able to reflect on past experiences, take the lessons learned, and use them as motivation to propel me forward in hope of the great things that are yet to come.

The scripture that was laid on my heart to share with you today is Jeremiah 24: 6 KJV:

โ€œFor I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down, and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.โ€

Please be reminded that Godโ€™s intention for us is become the best version of ourselves and to unleash great things in our lives. However, he wants to help us grow and mature spiritually to prepare us for any obstacles and challenges we may experience along the way to the destination. If we put our trust and lean into him, he will build us up and give us strength when we are weak, joy in sadness, safety in times of fear, and beauty in the ashes.

Remember to bloom where you are, and that God has you planted there for a reason. If you take the time to look at the lessons and growth opportunities, you will continue to move closer to the place he desires for you to elevate to. Donโ€™t let distractions knock you off the path that God has set for you. If we keep our eyes on him, he will lead and guide us every step of the way.
