Hi Everyone! I had to share this inspirational quote when I saw it! This is a note to self for me whenever I am faced with making a tough decision in life. Every time I have chosen to take a step forward out of my comfort zone or chose to put an end to situations that were preventing my happiness or growth a feeling of peace always came over me. Peace comforted me as reassurance that I made the best decision to enable growth.

I am not in control of the lessons that are meant to be learned along my journey, or who will be placed in my life to teach them. I am in control of how I go through each test. Your value is not in the eye of the beholder….It took a long time for me to realize that my value is not determined by one’s perception of me. I have learned that my value is reflected in my thoughts, heart, and actions. If someone only values what is appealing to the eye and who has an audience then what does that really say about the person who values these things?
