After the Rain…

“The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom”.

Deuteronomy 28:12-13 NIV

Hello, everyone! This scripture was laid on my heart to share with someone who may be going through a difficult time and needs encouragement. The start of spring has brought me a lot of challenges. I have struggled to adapt to changes and navigate through uncertainties on my journey. During those times when I feel overwhelmed and like I’m losing my faith, God continues to remind me that He is my peace and source of strength. He has revealed to me that the rain I’ve experienced in my life through disappointments and painful experiences was necessary for my spiritual and mental growth.

Just as rain is a necessity for plants to bloom, it’s vital for us to endure such difficult times to develop into the person God intended us to become. As I progress through this season, I will clear my mind and consider this time as a new beginning and rebirth. I am motivated and enthusiastic about the direction that God is leading me towards and the type of woman I am evolving into. Please remember that even when everything seems to be going wrong, we must trust in Him to guide us towards the promise.

Be blessed,

Hi Everyone! I had to share this inspirational quote when I saw it! This is a note to self for me whenever I am faced with making a tough decision in life. Every time I have chosen to take a step forward out of my comfort zone or chose to put an end to situations that were preventing my happiness or growth a feeling of peace always came over me. Peace comforted me as reassurance that I made the best decision to enable growth.

Where there’s peace, there is growth ,

Predestined to Flourish

Have you ever went through a season of hardship and felt like it would never end and there was no light at the end of the tunnel? Well, I have repeated this season many times along the road of my life. When I look back, I must say that each time I felt like this was the end and that I couldn’t go on any further, I realized that  God allowed the hard seasons to come in order for me to flourish. The dictionary defines flourish as growing luxuriantly, or thriving in growth, as a plant. When I think of a plant, it starts as a seed in the ground. In order to grow, it needs water, nutrients in the soil, and sunlight. It is a long process for the seed to become a plant. The seed endures the harsh weather elements, but somehow retains nutrients needed to flourish in the end. Each seed flourishes into a plant in its own season of harvest. In the same way a seed is predestined to flourish into a plant, so are we. The next time you face a season of hardship in your life, just remember that it was predestined to happen in order to help you walk boldly into your season of growth. Ultimately, God’s gets the glory and your season of growth is the beginning of a new life of purpose.

Isaiah 17:11 King James Version (Verse of the Day)

“In the day shalt thou make thy plant to  grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.”
