More Than a Fairy Tale: Trusting God’s Promise for Love

Hello family! Have you ever felt like God placed a specific love story in your heart? A story so beautiful that it feels like something out of a fairy tale?

Lately, God has been gently reminding me of the promise He planted within me. He’s showing me that the love story He has for me will unfold like a fairy tale written by His hand, full of wonder, growth, and a love that’s worth the wait.

As a little girl, I would spend hours playing with dolls, creating my own worlds and storylines. I didn’t know it then, but even as a child, I was shaping what I believed a healthy relationship and family could look like. Through those playtime moments, I wasn’t just passing the time I was building the blueprint for the love I aspired to experience and the life I dreamed of living. I now realize that what I created was a reflection of what my heart deeply desired for myself.

Even now, God is showing me that the love story He’s placed in my heart is not just a childish dream. It’s a promise.

Fairy tales aren’t just about magical moments and happy endings. They’re about the journey, the challenges, the waiting, and the discovery. In every fairy tale, the main character often faces detours, obstacles, and moments of doubt. Sometimes, they feel overlooked, forgotten, or stuck in an in-between season, unsure if their story will ever unfold the way they hoped.

But what makes a fairy tale beautiful is that the Author always knows the ending.

God is reminding me to wait with the same kind of hope.

To wait with trust.

To wait with patience.

To believe that even in the waiting, my story is being written, and every chapter has purpose.

Sometimes waiting feels like standing on the sidelines, watching everyone else’s story unfold while wondering if mine was ever real. But God is teaching me that I don’t have to write the story myself. I don’t have to chase it, force it, or settle for something less. I just have to trust the One who is writing it.

The love story God placed in my heart will be one of adventure, authenticity, and deep connection…Like the best fairy tales, where love finds you in the most unexpected way, where the journey matters just as much as the ending, and where the story is even more beautiful than you imagined.

If God has placed a love story in your heart, trust that He’s not teasing you. He’s teaching you. Every season of waiting, every detour, and every quiet moment is part of a divine script only He could write. Don’t rush the Author.

The story He’s writing for you will be more beautiful, more meaningful, and more full of purpose than anything you could have imagined. Keep believing. Your fairy tale is unfolding…one faithful page at a time.

Live faithfully!

Love Always,

“My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my hope is from Him.”Psalms 62:5 NKJV

Hello, Spiritual Family! Many of us can relate to the feeling of walking through a storm with no clear direction, waiting for answers, longing for peace, and hoping for relief. How often do we find ourselves questioning where to turn in these moments? It is in these very times that Psalms 62:5 serves as a powerful reminder: our hope is found in God alone.

Finding Strength in the Waiting

Believe me, waiting can be challenging at times. It often comes with frustration, doubt, and fear. But God does not call us to wait anxiously—He calls us to wait in silence and trust in Him. This doesn’t mean we do nothing; it means we choose to rest in His promises instead of relying on our own understanding.

God’s love is unwavering. Even when we don’t see the way forward, He is working behind the scenes, strengthening us for what’s ahead. I can personally testify that when we place our hope in Him, we are no longer controlled by fear, but empowered by faith.

Hope That Anchors the Soul

The world offers temporary solutions, but God provides an eternal anchor for our souls. His love is steadfast, and His plans for us are good—even when we can’t see the full picture. Psalms 62:5 reminds us to shift our focus from the uncertainties of life to the certainty of God’s faithfulness.

When we face challenges, we can either allow worry to consume us or we can choose to trust in God’s love. He sees the end from the beginning, and He promises to walk with us every step of the way.

Endurance Through Faith

Endurance is built not in ease, but in trials. God allows seasons of waiting and difficulty to strengthen our faith, deepen our trust, and refine our hearts. It is through these challenges that we learn to depend on Him more fully and experience the depth of His love in a way we never have before.

So, if you are facing uncertainties today, take heart—your hope is secure in God. He is your rock, your refuge, and your unfailing source of strength.

A Prayer for Strength and Hope

“Lord, in the midst of my waiting, help me to trust in You. When I feel uncertain, remind me that my hope is in You alone. Strengthen me to endure, give me peace in the waiting, and fill my heart with the confidence that You are always working for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

No matter what you are facing today, remember this: God’s love will never fail you. Your hope in Him will never be in vain. Stand firm, trust in His promises, and let His love be your strength.

Live faithfully and hopeful!

Love Always,

You are Loved…

“Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.”

Song of Songs 8:6 NIV

Hello family! I don’t know who needs to hear this but remember that God loves you fiercely and relentlessly. This scripture is another example of the depth of God’s love and the extent of His commitment to us. His love is strong, reassuring, protective, and infinite.

This model of true love should guide our lives and how we treat others. I’m grateful to finally know its meaning and eager to share it with you. We are connected to His love forever when we surrender our will and open our hearts to receive it. Through His love, we can conquer all obstacles and challenges in life. Only through Him we can live in perfect peace and fulfill our purpose.

Be Blessed,

A Renewed Heart: Healed and Open to Love

Hi, Sassy squad! February, the month of love is quickly approaching and I wanted to share with you what was laid on my heart. On my self-love journey, I have been unlearning all that I once knew about love. I once thought that love was putting others’ desires and needs above myself. I was so afraid of losing people in my life that I went out of my way to make them happy while losing myself in the process. God healed my heart by first reminding me how much he loves me and teaching me how to love myself.

"We love because he first loved us."
1 John 4:19 NIV

After discovering self-love, he helped me to see that I am worthy of receiving the love that I give to others. He helped me discover that the only way to receive the type of love I desire, is to strive to be a reflection of the love that I desire by releasing anything that is unclean in my heart. I took accountability and began the deeper healing work by forgiving myself and others who have hurt me.

This wasn’t easy, but throughout the healing process, God kept reminding me that he wants the best for me and for me to become the best version of myself. He revealed to me that healing is necessary to live a life of peace, freedom, and to unblock the blessings that he has in store for me.

"Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it."
Proverbs 4:23 NIV

My heart is renewed, open, and ready to accept love as my higher self, the woman I am becoming. I have a healthier perspective on love. It is truly a gift that can not be controlled or contained. It is meant to be reciprocated and not one-sided. It is not meant to be chased, but it will find me at its appointed time. In love, there is value and respect. There is compassion, patience, and safety. God is love. We were created in his image. Love is you and me!

Love always,

Ronni Lauren

Daily Soul Food: Love In Action

Hi Everyone! Valentines Day is quickly approaching and we are bombarded with images of how the world views love, but have you ever stopped to think of love as more of an action than just an emotion. In my season of singleness I have come to realize that true love is expressed when one is willing to meet a person where they are in life and be committed to helping him or her grow to be better inside and out. One thought that may come to mind is: Is this possible? Yes, because God loves each and everyone of this way. So if you are in a season of singleness, please remember that you are loved unconditionally and to let all you do reflect God’s love.

Love in action,

Ronni❤️💋

Co-Starring in a Circus Called Life

I remember being excited to go to the circus in my childhood. I was amazed with the bright lights, colorful decorations, trained animals, and the acts of the performers on stage. The atmosphere created excitement, mystery, and allure. I never knew that the circus would come to life in my quest for love and that I would co-star in it instead of watching from the audience.

In the beginning, each performer in the circus of my life, captivated me with their handsome looks, charms, and play of words. Just as soon as I had fallen, their true characters of deceit were unmasked. Instead of paying attention to the warning signs, I joined the circus in hope of proving my loyalty and gaining love in return. As a result, I began jumping through hoops to make them happy, while I was losing myself in the process. The irony I later discovered is that I was the muse that each performer used to gain appeal to the world audience in order to hide personal insecurities within.

In hind sight, I am grateful for the lessons that being apart of the circus taught me. I am glad to be able to look back at being a part of the circus and see the good in finally getting the strength to leave it behind. I was drawn to the illusion, of what I once thought love was. I know now that love is not a circus. It’s not meant to tease or take advantage of one’s kindness. God is love and that is sufficient for me.  A favorite scripture that reminds me of what real love is and inspires me that love is possible:

I Corinthians 13:4-7 (King James Version):

  1. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.
  2. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh noth her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
  3. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
  4. Beareth all things, believeth all things, endureth all things.
