Hello Sassy Family! There comes a point in life when you realize that growth doesn’t happen by accident. You have to intentionally invest in the woman you are becoming.
Not just financially. Not just professionally. But emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and personally.
You can’t keep making withdrawals from yourself without making deposits.
Sometimes investing in your growth means reading the book, taking the class, learning the skill, or pursuing the opportunity you’ve been praying about.
Sometimes it means doing the harder internal work; healing, changing your mindset, confronting your fears, setting boundaries, and letting go of the version of you that was created to survive instead of thrive.
And sometimes, investing in yourself simply means giving yourself permission to rest.
Reflection:
Take a moment and honestly ask yourself:
What am I investing my time, energy, attention, and resources into?
Because whatever consistently receives your investment will eventually produce a return.
But when you intentionally invest in growth, wisdom, faith, discipline, healing, and purpose, something begins to shift.
You don’t have to transform your entire life overnight.
Start with one intentional decision.
Read something that challenges you.
Learn something you’ve always wanted to learn.
Spend time with people who inspire you.
Create boundaries that protect your peace.
Take better care of yourself.
Spend time with God.
Stop speaking negatively about the woman you’re still becoming.
Give yourself permission to outgrow old habits, environments, mindsets, and even expectations that no longer fit the person you’re becoming.
Don’t be discouraged because you aren’t where you want to be yet.
You’re growing.
The woman you’re becoming won’t look exactly like the woman you were, and that’s the point.
God can use every lesson, every setback, every uncomfortable season, and every new beginning to develop you into someone stronger, wiser, and more grounded.
So don’t just hope that you’ll become the woman you desire to be.
Invest in her.
Make the choice today to become intentional about your growth.
Because the woman you’re becoming is worth the investment.
You are not a finished product. You are a beautiful work in progress, and there is still so much greatness in you waiting to grow.
Stay Sassy. Stay Spirit-led. Stay Savvy.
Live Fearless,
💋Ronni Lauren
