Sassy Mindset💋…Do it Anyway: Stepping Into the Life You’re Meant to Live

Hello Sassy family! I don’t know who can relate to overthinking, procrastinating, and letting your thoughts talk you out doing the thing that will help you become your best self and bring you joy in the long run. If any one needs  push to do that thing  like I do… this quote was laid on my heart to share it with you.

“You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
~Eleanor Roosevelt

Many of you can relate…doing the thing you think you cannot do sounds inspiring until it’s time to actually do it. That’s when the doubts get loud. That’s when fear starts disguising itself as logic. “What if I fail?” “What if I’m not ready?” “What if people judge me?” And just like that, we convince ourselves to stay comfortable instead of stepping into growth.

We must remember that the very thing you’re avoiding might be the doorway to your next level.

Take it from me that growth has never lived in comfort. Confidence isn’t something you magically wake up with, it’s built every time you choose courage over fear. Every time you show up despite the doubts. Every time you try, even when success isn’t guaranteed.

Doing the thing you think you cannot do isn’t about perfection, it’s about permission. Permission to start messy. Permission to learn as you go. Permission to not have it all figured out and still move forward anyway.

Think about it: what’s that one thing that keeps tugging at your heart? The dream you keep postponing. The risk you keep avoiding. The step you keep overthinking.

Now imagine what your life could look like if you just… tried.

Because sometimes, the breakthrough isn’t waiting on more preparation, it’s waiting on your decision to move.

So this is your reminder:
You don’t have to feel ready.
You don’t have to have all the answers.
You just have to be willing.

Do the thing.
Send the message.
Start the project.
Speak up.
Show up.

And watch how life begins to meet you on the other side of that decision.

You are more capable than your fear wants you to believe.

Reflection Question:
What is one thing you’ve been telling yourself you “can’t” do and what would taking the very first small step toward it look like this week?

Live Fearlessly!

Soul Food🙏🏾🪴🩷…Bigger on the Inside

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

~1 John 4:4 NKJV

Hello family! Have you ever walked into a situation and immediately felt outnumbered, underqualified, or just… not enough? Like the pressure was loud, the opposition was louder, and your confidence quietly slipped out the back door?

What if I told you the real power in the room isn’t what’s around you but what’s within you?

This scripture isn’t whispering. It’s declaring. You have already overcome. Not because you’ve got it all together, but because God Himself lives in you.

So why are we shrinking in rooms we were called to shift?

The world will try it…comparison, fear, doubt, insecurity, distraction, you name it. But none of that has more authority than the Spirit of God within you.

And that insecurity that keeps tapping you on the shoulder? It’s been defeated. It just doesn’t know it yet.

Reflection Question:

Where in your life have you been acting small when God has already declared you an overcomer?

Today, I want you to walk like you know who lives in you.

When doubt creeps in, check it.

When fear tries to speak, interrupt it.

When insecurity shows up, evict it.

Speak this over yourself:

“Greater is in me. I don’t shrink, I stand.”

Now go ahead and step into that room, that calling, that assignment…

with holy confidence and a little attitude.

Because what’s in you?

It’s bigger than anything you’re facing.

Live faithful,

Love Letter to the Woman I am Becoming…

Hello and Happy Galentine’s Day, Sassy Family! 💕

In the spirit of celebrating love, I felt called to write a love letter to the woman I am becoming, inspired by a letter I once wrote to my younger self in a previous blog post.

I hope that this message encourages anyone who may need a reminder that they are loved, or who needs permission to celebrate where they are on their self-love journey. Whether you are just beginning, healing quietly, or boldly stepping into your growth, I hope these words remind you that becoming is something worth honoring.

Dear Ronni Lauren,

This is a love letter to you, the woman I am becoming, the woman who is unfolding with grace, strength, and quiet confidence.

I see the way you are no longer rushing your growth. The way you are allowing life to shape you instead of breaking you. The way you pause now, where you once panicked. The way you reflect, where you once reacted. That is growth. That is evolution. That is love.

There was a time when you searched for validation outside of yourself. You questioned your worth. You bent to keep others comfortable. But now? You stand. You choose. You discern. You no longer chase what doesn’t choose you. You no longer beg for what you can give yourself.

You are becoming a woman who understands that love begins within. A woman who knows that softness is strength. A woman who can nurture others without neglecting herself.

I love how you are no longer apologizing for your depth. I love how you embrace your tenderness without seeing it as weakness. I love how you are becoming rooted in faith and self-awareness.

You are no longer settling for less than you deserve. You are no longer shrinking to fit into spaces you’ve outgrown. You are no longer afraid to outgrow people, patterns, or places that cannot meet you where you are headed.

The woman you are becoming is intentional. She moves with clarity. She speaks with purpose. She loves with wisdom. She chooses peace over chaos. She chooses herself without guilt.

Keep becoming. Keep healing. Keep glowing. The love you give yourself today is building the life you once prayed for. The standards you set now are protecting the future you desire.

I am proud of you not just for where you are going, but for who you are right now in this very moment.

With admiration and unwavering love,
The Woman Within♥️
