“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”

~1 John 3:16

Hello and Happy Easter family! As we reflect in this season, we are invited into a deeper understanding of love that is sacrificial, unwavering, and transformative. Easter is not only about the resurrection; it is about revelation. It reveals that love is not passive. Love shows up. Love sacrifices. Love chooses others even when it costs something. And in a world that often defines love by feelings, Easter redefines it through action.

1 John 3:16 reminds us of the depth of God’s love and how we must choose to intentionally walk in love daily out of reverence for Him.

Jesus didn’t just talk about love, He embodied it. The same love that led Him to the cross and raised Him from the grave lives in us.

That means every day, we have the opportunity to live this love out:

  • When we choose forgiveness over bitterness
  • When we extend grace instead of judgment
  • When we show up for others even when it’s inconvenient
  • When we honor our own worth as someone deeply loved by God

This kind of love requires something from us. It requires surrender. It requires courage. It stretches us beyond our comfort zones.

But it also transforms us.

Because when we begin to love like this, we don’t lose, we gain. We step into freedom, peace, and alignment with God’s heart.

So, walk boldly. Love deeply. Forgive freely. And rise daily into the fullness of who God created you to be.

This is your season of resurrection, around you and within you.

Reflection Question:
What is one specific way I can demonstrate sacrificial love this week, even if it feels uncomfortable?

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for showing me what true love looks like through Your sacrifice. Help me to not only receive Your love, but to live it out boldly each day. Give me the courage to love selflessly, the strength to forgive, and the grace to extend kindness even when it’s difficult. Transform my heart so that I reflect You in all that I do. Let my life be a vessel of Your love, bringing light, healing, and hope to those around me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live Faithfully and Walk in Love!

Soul Food🙏🏾🪴💗…He Is Risen—And So Are We: New Beginnings From Lifeless Places

Hello and Happy Resurrection Day everyone! Something special has been laid on my heart—and it’s for anyone who might be feeling a little stuck, weighed down, or even lifeless in some areas of your journey. Maybe you’re smiling on the outside, but inside, there’s a place in your heart that feels…hopeless, broken, or dormant. If that’s you, lean in close.

Let’s sit with this powerful truth from John 11:25–26 (NIV):
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus spoke these words to Martha in the middle of her grief, after her brother Lazarus had died. She was heartbroken. Confused. Wondering why Jesus didn’t show up earlier. Can you relate? We’ve all had moments where we wondered if God was late, or worse—silent.

But here’s the good news: Jesus doesn’t just bring resurrection—He is the resurrection. And when He shows up, even the dead things must rise.

Easter reminds us that what looks final is never final with God. That area of your life that feels over? The dream that feels buried? The hope that’s been quietly fading? Jesus is whispering to your heart, “Do you believe this?”

And I get it—some days believing is hard. But faith doesn’t require perfection; it just requires trust. Even mustard-seed faith can move mountains, raise Lazarus, and bring you back to life.

So today, whether you’re dancing in joy or limping in faith, I want you to know this: You are not forgotten. You are not too far gone. And your story is not over. The same power that rolled away the stone is alive in you.

This Easter, let’s rise in bold belief. Let’s breathe again. Let’s trust again. Because with Jesus, even our dead ends can become new beginnings.

Stay hopeful, live faithfully, and let your spirit rise.

He is Risen, and so are we.

Love,

💗Ronni Lauren

He has Risen! He is Our Strength!…

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

Hello family and Happy Resurrection Day! I hope everyone had a great day with their family, friends, and loved ones. Let us take time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and his continued presence in our lives. This scripture was laid on my heart to share as a reminder that God is our source of strength to navigate life’s challenges and achieve anything. All we need to do is express our desires, remain grateful, surrender our will, and trust in him to bring them to life. Reassurance from the Holy Spirit within us gives us the strength to overcome all obstacles and succeed. Whenever it feels like God’s presence is absent and I start to lose faith in a situation or circumstance working out in my favor, I am reminded that He is working behind the scenes on my behalf. He turns everything around in a way that surpasses my imagination.

Be Blessed,

Ronni Lauren💋
