Hi my spiritual family! This scripture was laid on my heart to remind you to always keep your mind on God. In my experience when things are out of control, trusting and centering my mind on God calms me. He always keeps his promises and is the solid rock I can stand on in times when I’m uncertain and unstable. His holy spirit gives you peace that can’t be explained. It empowers you to overcome whatever life throws your way to distract you and cause you to focus on unfortunate circumstances.
Always remember that he is sovereign, bigger than any problem or situation. We must lean into him so that he can reveal the depths of his character to us. By depending on him with our whole hearts, we are surrendering our will and letting go of control over the outcome of the circumstance. This increases our faith in him which gives us the strength to endure until the end of a difficult season. Who will you put your trust in today?
Hi, my Sassy fam! I can’t believe it’s the last day of 2022…Happy New Year!!! May your year be blessed and overflowing with happiness and abundance. I must say that 2022 was the year of walking into my purpose for me. I started my self-love journey in 2021 and I rediscovered that I am worthy of love and that God intentionally created me just the way I am.
This revelation helped me to walk fearlessly in my purpose to spread God’s love, empower women to live boldly, use their voices, and embrace their beauty inside and out in 2022. I’m so grateful to you all for allowing me to take you along on this purpose journey with me and I hope that we can continue to grow together into who we are destined to become.
I’m amazed at where I am now on my journey and excited about the woman I am becoming. Facing my fears of walking in my purpose has redirected my focus and reignited my drive and determination to make my dreams come true in 2023. I hope that you will be inspired to go after your dreams in the new year. Please be encouraged and know that a delayed dream is not a denial. I am a witness that if God placed a dream in your heart, he will bring it to pass even if it doesn’t manifest when you expect it to.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

Hi my spiritual family! Let this scripture remind you that your gifts are like lights that illuminate in the midst of darkness. Please continue to let them shine bright for the whole world to see. Your gifts are meant to be seen and not hidden. Your gifts were intentionally placed within you to shine in a time such as this. Are you ready to activate your gifts today?
I remember thinking that waiting on something from God meant praying to him about what you want him to bless you with and sitting still waiting for it to come to pass. I now realize that one should not sit still and focus on receiving the blessing, but one must get in preparation for it while waiting. I am the type of person that likes to jump to the end of a book or movie and then go back to read the beginning. I never noticed it, but this is my way of staying in control of the end outcome and preparing how to react to surprises that may occur in between. This is not the way that God reveals his plan for our lives to us.
Instead, he reveals his plan to us in parts. Each part is what you need in the present moment to help you reach the next step on your purpose journey. He also showed me during the waiting that in order for him to allow the blessings to flow in my life, I must surrender my will, have faith, and trust in him to do the rest.
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth”.
Psalms 46:10 KJV
God is sovereign. He is in control of every aspect of our lives. We must move out of the way and let God complete the great work in our lives that he started when he created us. Remember that he wants the best for us and for us to become the best versions of ourselves. We can only surrender to God and completely trust in him when we study and learn who He is. As I began reading his word and talking to God during the waiting period, my faith and trust in him increased.
As I began to get closer to him, he revealed to me the purpose he was preparing me for. Every experience that has happened in my life has prepared me for such a moment and time as this. At times on this purpose journey, I wanted to give up and even doubted that I was equipped to be used by God. But God has a sense of humor. He shook things up in my life and placed me in a valley to spring forth new life in me.
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk; and not faint”.
Isaiah 40:31 KJV
God is reminding us that if we continue to trust in him and center our minds on him, he will restore our strength in times of weakness and when our hope is lost. I hope that you take away from this that it is imperative to enjoy the periods of waiting and take this time to reflect on who God is and his goodness. In time, he will connect the dots and align your life with his purpose for you. Remember that he is preparing you for greatness and adding to your testimony to inspire others. Trust and have faith in him to finish the great work he has begun in your life.

Hi spiritual family! Please be reminded that God is your help to push you forward in times when you are weak and it feels impossible to make it through the storm. He is also there to protect and keep you safe from any harm that may surround you.
Happy Thanksgiving my spiritual family! I hope that you all are well and have a blessed holiday. Gratitude has been heavily on my heart in this season. Going forward I plan to make giving thanks a part of my daily regimen. I am truly grateful for God’s peace, favor, and gift of unconditional love! May this scripture remind you to give thanks for all things this day and every day. Most importantly let us give thanks to the one who makes all things possible. Hello Everyone! When I saw this quote it spoke volumes to me. For most of my life I couldn’t embrace what made me unique so I tried to change myself to fit in and gain the acceptance of others. I am so happy to say that I finally understand the importance of loving who you are and enjoying the journey of who you are becoming. There is only one you and your only competition is yourself. As I continue on the journey of who I’m becoming, I want to stand out on purpose through my words and actions. They determine the impact I will make on other’s lives and how I will be remembered. May you embrace your uniqueness and aspire to become a better version of you.
Learning daily that self love is necessary to be the best version of “you” that you can be. You can’t let your life’s mission be to give love to others and forget to love yourself first. As I continue on my growth journey, I now understand that loving yourself first is when your life will align with your purpose.
Looking back at the girl I used to be and the woman I’m becoming, I realized that every insecure thought, loss, and painful experience had a predestined purpose in my life. They were all necessary to help shape me into the strong, unbreakable, and graceful woman that stands before you today.
I once tried to run away from things that didn’t fit into the illusion of sunshine and rainbows that I imagined for my life’s journey. I now realize that learning to accept things along your path that force you to leap out of your comfort zone will bring out your inner strength and resilience to face hardships. One’s growth is a remnant of the past and proof that there is great promise in the future that lies ahead. Be encouraged! Grow gracefully!
